Finding The Theatre

York has an extensive cycle network, which makes cycling to the Theatre safe and easy. Full details of the York Cycle Network can be found on the Council Cycling Pages including a full cycle route map of the area. Copies of the York Cycling Maps can also be obtained from various outlets within York such as Cycle Shops and the Tourist Information Offices.

The Theatre is just 150 meters from the Foss Islands Route cycle path. To get to the Theatre from this path, turn off at the bridge under Haxby Road (just next to the Nestlé Factory), and travel 150 meters up Haxby Road (with the Factory on your left). The Theatre is located on the right, set back from the road, between the Nuffield Hospital and the Roundabout. Cycles can be left secured to the left hand side of the building.
