Syndicating Event Information
We welcome other sites carrying our event information. To make this easier we publish event information for the next 6 months in an extended RSS format which should help you be able to parse out the relevant information for your website.
Should you syndicate any of our content please let us know by contacting webmaster (AT) jrtheatre•co•uk. Please be aware that we do not own the copyright in show images, and so the use of these images outside the context of the show information would need permission from the copyright holder.
RSS Feeds
The RSS feed is at http://jrtheatre.co.uk/feeds/event_rss.xml and contains information for shows over the next 6 months. Additionally there is a short term feed that covers one month at http://jrtheatre.co.uk/feeds/upcoming_rss.xml
The feeds include additional markup tags using the Event Module. This gives information on when the event occurs. However this does not give sufficient information to handle performance times so we use an additional specialised RSS Module which packages performance time and pricing information.
The content part of the RSS feed contains basically the same information as the event entries on our web pages.
Other Event Syndications
If the RSS feeds are not suitable for your use, but you wish to carry our event information then please contact us regarding this. We may well be able to work against other APIs to export our event information.
We are not prepared to manually copy event information to other websites. However we will work with other sites to transfer event information to them.
